The students have been learning about Speech Bubbles and how they can really spice up their illustrations! We have visited Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus and various other texts with speech bubbles. This lesson uses Snowmen at Night by Carolyn Buehner to have the students create a snowman and a speech bubble for the snowman saying what he or she does at night. Creative and cute for winter!
