For a mini lesson on Problem and Solution I did a Read Aloud of The Playground Problem. The Playground Problem is centered on a “boys vs. girls” situation that states an obvious problem. It started a good discussion about identifying the problem in a story as well as the solution(s) that result. My teaching points notes are below!
