This lesson was taught to Kindergarten in Montgomery in order to show students the difference between letters, words, and sentences. The Alphabet Tree by Leo Lionni was an excellent text for the lesson! Activity involved writing a sentence on a sentence strip and cutting the words apart. This served as an excellent means of assessment too!
